About George

George is a Partner and senior member of McInnes Cooper's Real Estate Group, with a commercial real estate practice focused on leasing, financing, and the acquisition and sale of commercial properties. He previously worked as in-house counsel and as a regional real estate representative for a national grocery chain, handling site selection, purchase and sale negotiations, and construction matters for large retail and office projects. His transactions have included financing of long-term residential care facilities across Nova Scotia, syndicated wind farm financings, and complex reciprocal easement agreements. George holds a B.Sc. and M.B.A. from Dalhousie University and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.
