Real Estate LawTracey Kennedy is a partner at Kennedy Schofield Lutz Lawyers, concentrating her practice in real estate and estate planning. Born and raised in St. Margaret's Bay, she articled with a large city firm before returning to her community, establishing her first firm, Tracey Kennedy's Law Practice, in October 2000. She assists clients purchasing and selling homes, particularly first-time buyers, and drafts wills, powers of attorney, and living wills, and also practices probate law, supporting clients winding up estates after the death of a loved one. She is a member of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia and gives community presentations on legal developments. In 2010, she partnered with Jennifer Schofield to form Kennedy Schofield Lawyers, later welcoming Amanda Lutz to the partnership in 2021. She earned her law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2000.
