About Gabrielle
Gabrielle Schachter is a commercial litigator at RECON who also assists the firm's restructuring team on insolvency files. Her practice covers corporate contract and service agreement disputes, retail and consumer services matters, and professional and products liability issues. She has litigated before multiple levels of court in Ontario and federally, including matters that reached the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Federal Court of Appeal, and has helped bring applications before the Supreme Court of Canada. She earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto and completed an Honours BA at Queen's University, majoring in Political Studies and English. Before joining RECON, she practised litigation at McCarthy Tetrault.
