About Gustavo
Gus is a partner with nearly 25 years of trial experience handling complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, construction litigation, shareholder disputes, and creditor remedies and insolvency matters. His clients include premium finance lenders, national and international construction and energy companies, bankruptcy trustees, and closely-held corporations, and he has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as administrative tribunals. Gus sits on the Model Order Subcommittee of the Commercial List Users Committee and previously served as vice-chair of the Insolvency Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2000, holds a master's degree from the University of Western Ontario and a bachelor's from Brock University, and was called to the bar in 2002.
