About Mario

Mario Forte has practiced restructuring and insolvency law for thirty-five years, playing key roles in some of Canada's largest and most complex restructuring proceedings, including CanWest Publishing, Nortel Networks, and Stelco. He advises senior management, boards, and special committees on issues arising from distress situations and other special circumstances, both domestically and internationally. Clients turn to him for strategies that are practical and effective, drawing on his deep knowledge of restructuring and corporate law built over a long career. Before joining Reconstruct LLP, Mario was a partner in the restructuring groups of two national law firms and a boutique firm.
