About Emily

Emily Palmer is an associate at TDS with a practice focused on corporate and commercial law and estate law. She began as a summer student at TDS in 2024, joined as an articling student in 2025, and became an associate after her call to the bar in 2026. She participated in the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic in her final year at Robson Hall, providing free legal services to start-ups, business owners, artists, and entrepreneurs in Manitoba without access to legal resources. Before law school she earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Manitoba in 2019 and a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia in 2022, and has published articles in The Tyee and other outlets.
