About Steven

Steven London has a broad business and securities law practice spanning mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, private equity and venture capital, securities regulation, and general business law, for clients ranging from international enterprises to start-ups. Steven has advised on transactions exceeding $2.8 billion in aggregate enterprise value, working with portfolio managers on investment fund products, real estate investment trusts, private equity and venture capital funds, and public mutual fund families, as well as private placements and IPOs. Prior to private practice, Steven spent ten years in senior executive roles in financial services, including as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for an investment fund company. Steven was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1997 and the Ontario Bar in 2009, holding an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba (1996), a B.A. with First Class Honours in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba (1992), and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University (2009).
