About Elizabeth

Elizabeth M. Brown is a senior lawyer at BMKP Law practising in pension, benefits, and executive compensation law. She advises public and private sector employers, sponsors, and administrators on regulatory governance, compliance, and administration of pension and employee benefit plans, and represents clients on pension litigation disputes and corporate transactions, including insolvencies, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganizations. Effective January 2025, she was appointed to the OMERS Sponsors Corporation Board of Directors and to the National Ballet School's Board of Directors. She received the Ontario Bar Association's 2017 Award of Excellence in Pensions and Benefits Law. Elizabeth holds an LL.B. from York University, a B.Mus. from Queen's University, and an LL.M. from the University of Leicester. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988.
