About Damaris

Damaris Regina Guimaraes is an associate whose corporate law practice is dual-qualified in both Canada and Brazil. She earned her LLB from the Universidade de Brasília and later completed a Global Professional Master of Laws at the University of Toronto. Damaris articled at EY Legal in Toronto and has also worked at boutique corporate firms, advising multinational companies on M&A deals, corporate governance, and other strategic transactions. She is fluent in both Portuguese and English, which helps her navigate cross-border matters for clients. Damaris is a member of the Brazil-Canada Bar Association and is licensed with the Law Society of Ontario as well as the Brazilian Bar Association.
