About Deborah
Deborah Cheung is an associate lawyer in Unified LLP's Employment and Labour Group. She takes a pragmatic, solution-focused approach aimed at getting efficient, practical results for her clients. Her work covers employment contracts, severance negotiations, human rights and workplace harassment claims, restrictive covenants, and disputes over equity compensation, and she has appeared before the Small Claims Court and represented clients in mediations and arbitrations. Before joining Unified LLP, Deborah worked at a boutique employment law firm representing both employees and employers. She holds a B.A. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from the City University of Hong Kong, and she is fluent in English and Cantonese.
