Employment & Labour LawDavid Shiller formed Shiller & Shiller with his brother Brian in 1994; the firm became Shillers LLP in 2005. He has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters over more than 26 years of practice, including shareholder and partnership disputes, wrongful dismissal and employment law, condominium disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, civil fraud, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, municipal elections, liquor licensing, trademark, copyright, defamation, professional negligence, and commercial real estate. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at McGill University in 1988 with degrees in both civil law (B.C.L.) and common law (LL.B.), articled and worked as an associate at Goodman & Goodman (now Goodmans LLP) from 1988 to 1993, and has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1990. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he teaches Trial Advocacy.
