About David
David Shiller serves as counsel to Unified LLP, bringing 32 years of litigation experience to the firm's lawyers. He graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 1988 with both civil law and common law degrees, articled at Goodman & Goodman (now Goodmans LLP), and has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1990. He later founded Shillers LLP, where he was most recently partnered with Unified's Gil Fischler. Over his career David has handled shareholder and partnership disputes, wrongful dismissal and employment matters, Indigenous law, defamation, condominium issues, insolvency, civil fraud, landlord-tenant disputes, and professional negligence claims, among others. He also teaches Trial Advocacy as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
