About Christopher
Christopher (Chris) Sinal studied at Western University and the University of Alberta before being called to the bar in 2012. As a partner in Siskinds' Labour & Employment group, he represents only employers in their dealings with employees and labour unions, working mainly with clients in construction, manufacturing, and the broader public sector. His practice centres on human rights complaints, WSIB appeals, responses to Occupational Health and Safety charges, and wrongful dismissal claims, and he also advises on union organizing drives and certification applications. Chris appears in a range of forums, including administrative tribunals, before labour arbitrators, in collective bargaining, and in court. Clients describe him as a strategic, responsive advisor who explains complex labour and employment issues in practical terms.
