About Dakota
Dakota Koch, a Vancouver native, founded British Columbia Newcomers, a registered charity operating free programming for recently arrived refugee children and youth, and presently serves as its Vice-President, having co-founded and led the organization before pursuing law. During his legal studies he gained practical tribunal experience working in a student capacity with a federal government agency. He completed his undergraduate studies at UBC and attended law school at the University of Victoria.
