About Ethan
Ethan McCarthy advises clients on procurement, design, engineering and construction contracts for energy, commercial and infrastructure projects, handling matters from initial project structuring through to contract negotiation and administration. His work has spanned major construction, infrastructure and energy files, covering development, financing, procurement and contract administration issues. Before entering law, McCarthy was a civil engineer working in Washington, D.C. on construction project management and green building initiatives. He holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, awarded Summa Cum Laude, from Howard University. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the American Bar Association's construction law forum.
