About Folu

Folu Adesanya is an associate with a broad litigation practice covering insurance defence, municipal law, employment law and class actions. She joins the firm from the largest regional law firm in Atlantic Canada, where she represented clients before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, with an emphasis on civil litigation in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. Folu obtained her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, where she was a pro bono volunteer, a Dalhousie Student Advocate, a Schulich Ambassador, and Vice President of Communications for the Black Law Students' Association. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queen's University before law school. Folu was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022 and the Ontario bar in 2025.
