About Kate

Kate Amirault is a partner working out of the firm's Toronto office. That practice touches on nearly every corner of income tax law, from corporate reorganizations and restructurings to mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structuring, and executive compensation, along with personal taxation and estate and trust planning for individual clients and families. Before joining Thorsteinssons, Kate worked at a national law firm. Kate holds a J.D. from Queen's University and a B.Sc. from Acadia University, and has completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course as well as the Canadian Bar Association's Tax Law for Lawyers program.
