About William

William Mahody is a partner at Washington & Mahody, an experienced litigator advising on dispute resolution matters including insurance, commercial and employment law. William has appeared before numerous boards and tribunals as well as the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, and in recent years has focused significantly on private mediation and arbitration. William's in-depth negotiation training, completed through the Conflict Management Group of Cambridge, Massachusetts and based on the Harvard Negotiation Project model, supports representation of institutions, large international corporations and privately held businesses. Memberships include the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Advocates' Society of Ontario, and several trial lawyers associations.
