About Celyna

Celyna Yu is an associate in the firm's Business Law Group, practising in tax law and corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, owner-manager taxation issues, corporate reorganizations, and business succession planning. She was a summer student with the firm in 2020 and 2021, returned as an articling student in 2022, and was called to the Manitoba bar in June 2023 before joining as an associate. Celyna graduated from Robson Hall with the University Gold Medal in 2022, having earlier earned her B.Comm Honours with Distinction from the University of Manitoba's I.H. Asper School of Business in 2019, and served as president of the Diversity in Law Group and the Robson Hall Debate Society. She is a sessional lecturer for the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law's Corporate Tax Course and serves as Honorary Solicitor of the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre.
