About Caroline
Caroline is a business law partner working from the firm's St. John's and Charlottetown offices, with a focus on banking and financial services, commercial financing and secured transactions, and corporate and commercial real estate. She advises financial institutions and corporate clients on lending, financing and security matters across industries including agriculture, health care, fishing, mining, and hospitality, and also advises lenders in commercial enforcement matters. Caroline provides strategic advice to startups and established businesses on reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters, and regularly advises on corporate governance and shareholder issues. She lectures on business acquisitions at the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar Admissions Course and has served as President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs. Caroline earned her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 1990 and was called to the Newfoundland & Labrador bar in 1991 and the Prince Edward Island bar in 2017.
