About Brian

Brian Gillingham is a partner in Cunningham Swan's wills and estates group, focusing exclusively on succession planning, wills, and the law of trusts. He was raised in the Kingston region and returned after studying at Carleton University and Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a co-author of Drafting Wills in Canada: A Lawyer's Practical Guide, 3rd Edition (LexisNexis, 2021), and regularly presents on estates and trusts topics in Southeastern Ontario. His practice covers wills, trusts, probate applications, business succession planning, and powers of attorney for high-net-worth clients and business owners.
