About Carolyn

Carolyn Shelley is a partner in Cunningham Swan's family law group. Born and raised in Kingston, she returned home after earning an honours degree from the University of Toronto and her LL.B. from Dalhousie University. She articled with the Office of the Children's Lawyer and continues to represent children in high-conflict custody and child protection proceedings as a panel lawyer for that office. In addition to litigation, she practises collaborative family law and handles marriage contracts, separation agreements, custody and access, support, and property division matters.
