About Brent
Brent Mendiola advocates for family law clients using careful storytelling and strategy, working to preserve the family unit wherever possible. Her practice includes complicated files touching on corporate and trust issues, multi-jurisdictional considerations, and enforcement or injunctive relief, along with parenting disputes such as child abduction, alienation and relocation. She takes a trauma-informed, solution-focused approach and volunteers as a supervising lawyer with the Family Justice Centre through Pro Bono Students Canada. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2020 after earning her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 and an Honours B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from York University.
