About Joel

Joel McLeish grew up in London, Ontario before heading west for his education. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from MacEwan University, then began law school at the University of Manitoba before transferring to the University of Alberta, where he received his J.D. in 2020. He articled at a small Edmonton firm practising real estate, wills, and family law, and after his call to the bar in July 2021 he moved to Calgary to work at a firm focused on family and criminal matters. In July 2022 he moved into personal injury law, spending time at one of Canada's larger personal injury firms before joining Preszler in 2024. His practice covers motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, and slip and fall claims, and he's licensed to practice in both Alberta and Ontario.
