Brandon Crawford is a criminal defence lawyer and Partner at Edelson Foord Law, previously a Partner at Foord & Crawford. He regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, representing youth and adult clients on all types of offences as well as regulatory matters and professional disciplinary hearings. He has successfully argued constitutional challenges and complex search and seizure issues at all levels of court in Ontario and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Brandon earned two Juris Doctor degrees through Michigan State University College of Law and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, graduating with distinction and receiving several academic awards. He later worked on Parliament Hill as a policy advisor for a senator, and now teaches Trial Advocacy at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
