Administrative & Regulatory LawJocelyn Rempel is an associate at Edelson Foord Law practising criminal, constitutional and regulatory law, appearing at both the trial and appellate level for parties and interveners. She graduated from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2020, earning the silver medal in both her second and third years, and summered and articled at the criminal appeals office of Ontario's Ministry of the Attorney General. After being called to the bar in 2021 she clerked for a year at the Supreme Court of Canada for Justice Michael Moldaver, then began her career as defence counsel at Addario Law Group LLP in Toronto, where she helped build constitutional challenges to anti-encampment legislation affecting unhoused people during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also argued a constitutional challenge in Nunavut, at trial and on appeal, to mandatory driving prohibitions restricting Inuit sustenance hunters' right to hunt. She is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association and the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa.
