About Andrea

Andrea Bracaglia is a criminal defence lawyer and associate at Edelson Foord Law. Before joining the firm she completed a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada focused on administrative law and national security law, was called to the bar in June 2023, and obtained her J.D. from Windsor Law in 2022 before articling as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court of Justice's Southwest Region in Windsor. During law school she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, mentoring incoming students and drafting legal information for urban Indigenous communities, spent two summer terms at the Windsor Crown Attorney's office, and served as a tutorial assistant for first-year criminal law and a research assistant in international humanitarian and international criminal law. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, and previously worked in Ontario's healthcare system advancing health equity for marginalized populations.
