About Tara
Tara has practised in Ottawa since her call to the bar in 2005 and represents both insurers and individuals in civil litigation matters. Her focus includes motor vehicle liability, slip and falls, sexual assault claims, professional negligence, brain injuries and product liability, with a particular specialization in Accident Benefits disputes ranging from treatment plan denials to catastrophic impairment claims. She has appeared regularly before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the License Appeal Tribunal of Ontario. Tara earned her LL.B. from Queen's University in 2004, along with a B.A. in General Arts and an Honours B.Sc. in Biochemistry, both from Ottawa University. She's a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Carleton County Law Association and the Advocates' Society, and she has spoken multiple times at the CCLA's Annual Civil Litigation Conference.
