About David

David Capra is the Managing Partner at LMS Lawyers LLP, admitted as partner in January 2016 after completing his articles with a large Toronto firm and returning to practice in Ottawa. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, holds an LL.B from Western University and an MPA from Queen's University, and heads the firm's civil litigation department. His primary focus is personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice, animal attack claims, and critical illness and life insurance denial claims, and he has appeared before Ontario trial and appellate courts as well as administrative bodies such as the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Human Rights Commission. He also practices employment law, having represented a client wrongfully dismissed after twenty-four years of service.
