About Bahareh
Bahareh Danaei practises family law, handling property division, child custody disputes, and cohabitation and marriage agreements, and also works as a criminal defence lawyer for clients under investigation or charged with offences including assault and drug possession. Fluent in Farsi and English, she has represented Iranian clients who often face language and cultural barriers, and has appeared in Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal. She earned a BA from Simon Fraser University in 2007 and a JD from Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia in 2011, and was called to the BC bar in 2012. She volunteers at the North Shore Women Centre Legal Clinic and is a former board member of the North Shore Multicultural Society.
