About Andrew
Andrew Schnell is an associate in the Disputes Group of Osler's Calgary office. His practice covers complex corporate and commercial litigation in both private and public law contexts, and he has appeared before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Federal Court. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2022, where he volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and competed in the Gale Cup and Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration moot competitions. Before attending law school, Andrew Schnell was captain of the Canadian National Squash team and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Kinesiology, both at the University of Calgary. He also founded InspiredBySport, a charitable initiative supporting children in Morley, Alberta.
