About Tim

Timothy Lack founded Redpoint Law LLP in 2021 after more than 28 years practising real estate, secured and commercial lending, wills and estates, and business law in Vancouver. He has acted as the responsible lawyer on well over 10,000 real estate transactions for buyers, sellers, borrowers, banks and credit unions, and has advised on land assemblies, office and industrial leasing, and condo and mixed-use development from acquisition through to sale. He is a busy secured lending lawyer for both lenders and borrowers and is regularly retained to provide expert opinions on private lending issues for other litigation lawyers and firms. He sits on the board of the Mortgage Investment Association of BC and is an annual presenter for the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC. He has appeared on Global News Hour, CBC News, CBC Radio and in the Vancouver Metro News to discuss real estate topics, and was for years a regular guest on the Bloomberg radio show discussing wills, estate planning and probate.
