About Jaime
Jaime Ashby practises in the solicitors' group at North Shore Law, focusing on corporate law, commercial transactions, estate planning, estate administration, and conveyancing. She has extensive experience administering complex estates involving overseas assets and non-Canadian beneficiaries, and she also assists the firm's estate litigation lawyers on contested matters. She started her career in Kamloops and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada. She earned a B.Soc.Sc. from the University of Ottawa in 2002, an LLB from UBC in 2005, and an LLM in Taxation Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007, and was called to the BC bar in 2006. She is a Director of the Lawyers Assistance Program after volunteering with it for 12 years.
