About Athan
Athan Makrinos is a partner focused on employment law, representing both employees and employers. He handles wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, workplace harassment and human rights matters, breaches of fiduciary duty, and disputes over employment contracts and policies. Athan holds a dual Canadian and American Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and he was admitted to the bar in 2016. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Labour Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
