About Amelia
Amelia Crowshoe joined Code Hunter as an associate in 2026 after being called to the Alberta bar in 2021. She advises clients on governance matters, legislative development and regulatory compliance, bringing attention to the broader political and cultural context of complex legal issues. She is a guest lecturer at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law on Internet Law and Aboriginal Law. From the Piikani Nation, she holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture from the University of Calgary and received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. She is active in community leadership, serving as Vice-Chair of the Calgary Stampede First Nations Princess program and as an Elder for the University of Calgary's Centre for Innovation Family Justice Circle.
