Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionAmanda McLachlan is a partner at Bennett Jones LLP who advises public companies, executives, and boards through regulatory investigations and high-stakes disputes. Her commercial litigation practice covers shareholder disputes, enforcement actions, post-employment claims, and fraud investigations, and she has appeared before Ontario courts as well as bodies like the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Human Rights Tribunal. In securities litigation and regulatory work, she represents issuers, directors, officers, and financial institutions facing disclosure and governance issues, and she counsels clients on matters arising under the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act. Amanda also handles fraud and asset-recovery cases across multiple jurisdictions, frequently obtaining Norwich Pharmacal, Anton Piller, and Mareva orders to trace and preserve assets.
