About Jason
Jason Roth heads Bennett Jones LLP's construction law practice group and focuses on infrastructure development projects. He represents owners, developers, and contractors on domestic and international projects spanning LNG, power and renewables, electrical transmission, pipelines, natural gas processing, agriculture, and mining. Jason provides strategic advice on structuring and negotiating design-build, EPC, E&P, and EPCM contracts, and he also assists with procurement, supply chain, and contract administration issues such as change orders and warranty claims. From 2005 to 2006 he served as in-house project counsel for the Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited (II) Project in Doha. Jason earned his BAH from Queen's University in 1996, his LLB from the University of Victoria in 1999, and an LLM from Kyushu University in Japan in 2000, and he was called to the bar in Alberta in 2001, British Columbia in 2016, and Ontario in 2023.
