About Adam

Adam Savaglio is a senior partner at Scarfone Hawkins LLP whose practice spans corporate and employment law. On the corporate side he handles mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, tax reorganizations, and corporate restructuring for clients ranging from multinational corporations to entrepreneurial ventures in real estate, automotive dealerships, franchising, healthcare, and information technology. His employment work includes advising employers on terminations, workplace investigations, human rights matters, and executive buyouts, and he has been retained by the Government of Canada to investigate complex workplace complaints. He holds an H.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Toronto and Western Michigan and was called to the bar in 2008. Adam later completed certifications from Osgoode Hall in human resources, labour law, and human rights, plus negotiation training at Harvard Law School. He founded employerslawyer.ca to offer practical guidance to employers and has written and spoken on business and workplace law issues.
