Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionBarry Yellin is a civil litigator with more than 20 years of trial and appellate experience across a wide range of disputes. His practice covers commercial contract disputes, shareholder and partnership matters, real property litigation, professional negligence claims, mortgage enforcement, and fraud issues, and he also acts on the defence side in civil sexual assault proceedings. He has niche experience seeking emergency relief from the courts, including Mareva orders and Anton Piller orders, and he represents law firms of all sizes in Solicitors Act assessment matters. Barry was called to the bar in 2003 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Windsor, following a B.A. from Carleton University and an M.A. from York University. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Hamilton Law Association, and The Advocates' Society.
