Achkar Law's Toronto office is on Yonge Street in what is now known as North York City Centre, the business district that runs along Yonge from just south of Sheppard Avenue up to Finch Avenue. The former City of North York built this stretch into its own downtown through the 1970s and 80s, after the Yonge subway line reached Finch Station, and it's now the largest business district in Toronto outside the downtown core. The corridor is dense with office and condominium towers, a different feel from the lower rise stretches of Yonge Street further out in the city.
