About Babak
A senior associate lawyer at Achkar Law, Babak Sankani practises across employment law, human rights law, and civil litigation. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, with a specialization in alternative dispute resolution, and completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy before law school. His tribunal experience includes acting as counsel for the applicant in H.D. v. Kismutt Small Dog Rescue, 2023 HRTO 1762, where he obtained damages and other remedies for breaches of the Ontario Human Rights Code. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
