Sherrard Kuzz LLP is a Toronto law firm that handles employment and labour law exclusively for employers. Michael G. Sherrard and Erin R. Kuzz started the firm together in October 2001, after each had built a labour and employment law practice at other firms. For roughly the first decade the two ran it without formal titles or a partnership agreement, a structure that only formalized as the firm grew. What began as a two lawyer firm has grown to more than 30 lawyers working across three generations, from senior partners to articling and summer students.

The firm advises public and private employers, unionized and non-unionized, from single location businesses to large multinational organizations. Its work spans wrongful dismissal litigation, collective bargaining and grievance arbitration, workplace investigations, occupational health and safety, human rights and accommodation, pay equity, privacy, and dedicated construction labour relations and education law practices. A lawyer, not an answering service, staffs the firm's emergency line around the clock, including holidays, and the firm doesn't bill for a second lawyer's time when one joins a client meeting or call.
