Kuzz started the firm together in October 2001, after each had built a labour and employment law practice at other firms. Sherrard and Kuzz started the firm together in October 2001, after each had already built a labour and employment law practice at other firms.
The firm grew from a two lawyer start to more than 30 lawyers working across three generations of practitioners, with a formal articling and summer student program.
Sherrard holds the King's Counsel designation and is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Kuzz is also a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and sits on the Labour Management Advisory Committee, which advises Ontario's Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
