About Filip
Filip Pejovic is a partner at Achkar Law who advises and represents employers across the full range of workplace and labour matters, including terminations, severance, employment contracts, workplace investigations, and human rights and harassment complaints. His interest in employment and labour law began while volunteering to organize campaigns for a student labour studies society. He takes a practical, employer-focused approach, helping clients manage legal and reputational risk while also handling contested matters such as workplace investigations and responses to union activity. His reported experience includes acting as counsel for an employee in Aden v. Toronto (City), 2024 HRTO 339, defending an employer in a union certification matter, and serving as counsel on a successful intervenor motion before the Court of Appeal in Baker v. Van Dolder's Home Team Inc., 2025 ONCA 829. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Birmingham and a B.A. (Hons) in Law and Society from York University, and he's a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
