About Clifford

Clifford Singh is a partner at Achkar Law whose practice centres on employment law, labour law, and corporate and commercial litigation, advising employers on terminations, workplace investigations, and compliance while also representing individuals in employment disputes. He brings more than fifteen years of litigation experience, having conducted over 3,000 examinations and hundreds of contested court appearances, mediations, and pre-trials. After articling at one of southwestern Ontario's largest litigation firms, he practised insurance defence and worked as a fraud investigation lawyer, then spent over a decade advocating for injured clients before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Superior Court of Justice. He takes a pragmatic, client-centred approach and also hosts Achkar Law's employment law webinars. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a Specialist B.A. (Honours) in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, and he's a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
