Margie Strub Construction Law LLP is a Toronto firm that practices exclusively in construction law. John Margie and Joshua Strub co-founded it in 2020 and combined their surnames in the firm's name. The firm now has about ten lawyers, split between partners and associates, along with a paralegal and a senior law clerk. It advises owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and sureties across the construction lifecycle, working on adjudication, contracts, joint ventures, collaborative contracting, project delays, project advice, disputes and general counsel services.

Margie was called to the Ontario bar in 1995 after earning a law degree from the University of Wales in Cardiff. Margie is a Certified Specialist in Construction Law with the Law Society of Ontario and a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, and was a partner and former managing partner at another Toronto construction law firm before helping start this one. Strub holds a civil engineering degree from Western University along with a law degree from the same school and was called to the bar in 2015. Before co-founding the firm, Strub worked at a construction litigation firm and then in house, managing legal affairs nationwide for a large track and signal construction company. Margie and Strub also co-founded the Construction Law course at Western University's Faculty of Law and continue to teach it.
