About Leah
Leah Mangano is an associate whose litigation practice spans construction, energy, mining, banking, entertainment and technology, and she has represented contractors and subcontractors across the construction pyramid. She's called to the bar in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan and handles disputes involving contracts, shareholders, construction, intellectual property, banking and insolvency, estates and trusts, fraud and various regulatory matters. Her work has included representing an EPC contractor in a carbon capture plant dispute, a design-build subcontractor on a light rail transit project, and the owner of a sour gas plant in a multi-party UNCITRAL arbitration. Before joining the firm, she practiced commercial litigation at a large Canadian firm while also maintaining construction and estates litigation files across several provinces, with hearings taking her as far as the Falkland Islands and London. Leah has written on construction law topics and contributed to annual civil procedure publications. She earned her JD from Queen's University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2011.
