Zac Smith

About Zac

Zac Smith is an associate at OKT, acting as both litigator and advisor on Indigenous, commercial, constitutional and administrative law matters, with a focus on section 35 rights and Indigenous jurisdiction. Before joining the firm he practised at a litigation firm in New York City, where he worked on commercial and public law disputes, and he clerked for Justice John B. Laskin at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. His law and public policy degree is a joint degree from Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of Government, and during his studies he worked with the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic and Harvard's Program on Negotiation and Mediation. He is admitted to practise in Ontario and New York.
