About Ashley
Ashley Stacey is a partner in OKT's corporate law group and a member of the Mohawk Nation in Kahnawa:ke. She advises First Nations and their organizations on economic development and regulatory matters, including corporate transactions, governance, gaming law, taxation, and trusts, with particular focus on building legacy trusts to administer settlement funds and other revenues. She has been called to the bar in Ontario and Manitoba, graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with several academic and leadership awards, and earlier earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Montreal before working at the Royal Bank of Canada. Ashley is a past president of Native Earth Performing Arts and is recognized as repeatedly recommended in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for Indigenous law.
