About Ruba

Ruba El-Sayegh is a partner in the Advocacy Group, focusing on civil litigation, regulatory and administrative law, with emphasis on health law, medical defence, and professional liability. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Coroner's Inquests, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She regularly represents regulated health professionals before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board and advises on college investigations and disciplinary proceedings. She also practises embassy law, advising foreign missions and diplomats on Canadian laws, immigration, diplomatic and consular law, and private international law.
