About Yasmine

Yasmine Bentourkia joined DWF in 2026 after practising as an associate at a leading international law firm, where she advised clients on cyber incidents, privacy matters, and insurance coverage issues. She has experience managing data breach responses, including ransomware attacks, business email compromise, and social engineering fraud, and provides strategic advice on privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Yasmine also advises insurers on coverage matters spanning general liability, professional liability, directors' and officers' liability, and cyber risk lines, and represents insurers in coverage disputes. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Universite de Sherbrooke and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2019.
