About Akash
Akash Bhardwaj joined DWF in 2025 with a background in bankruptcy, employment, and civil and commercial litigation, having previously practised and articled at a regional full-service firm in Calgary. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2025 and has appeared in matters before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Akash earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2024, volunteering with Student Legal Assistance and serving as a Vice President of the Law Negotiations Club during law school. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from the University of Calgary.
